Meet Aron Coosemans, our new colleague at Aivix who joined us last week. Aron’s passion for data engineering and Python led him to choose Aivix, where his positive internship experience affirmed this decision. Welcome, Aron!

Why did you choose Aivix?

I chose to work for Aivix because it perfectly aligns with my passion for data engineering and my love for Python. During my internship at Aivix, I was fortunate to experience a positive and collaborative work environment that further solidified my decision to join this company.

In addition to the technical excellence I witnessed, I was impressed by the company’s commitment to professional development and continuous learning. Aivix’s dedication to employee growth aligns perfectly with my own aspirations to continually improve and stay at the forefront of data engineering practices.

What did you do before Aivix?

Before joining Aivix, I was a student at Thomas More Mechelen, where I pursued a degree in Information Management and Security. This educational journey served as a crucial foundation for my knowledge in data engineering.

During my time at Thomas More Mechelen, I gained valuable insights into the principles of information management and security, which are fundamental in the world of data engineering. The curriculum not only equipped me with a strong theoretical understanding but also provided hands-on experiences in managing and securing data, a vital aspect of data engineering.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

One of my guiltiest pleasures in life is listening to Rihanna. For some reason the songs of Rihanna have some kind of energizing effect on me. When I’m feeling tired I play her songs, sometimes on repeat, and afterwards I’m ready to be active again. So whenever you see me fall asleep, play some Rihanna.
